great shower but noisy street
The shower experience was a standout, providing excellent pressure and temperature control. Dinner service was prompt, with food that truly exceeded my expectations.
Street noise can disrupt a peaceful night.

this place id amazing! super cozy boutique inn with a great bar n restaurant. staff are so friendly n helpful, totally made our stay better. the porridge at breakfast was the best ive ever had, like, we all loved it. n the charm of the old building is just lovely, creaky floorboards n all.
only thing was the cleaning could have been better, we found some dust n dog hair on the floor. also, a bit creaky at night but that’s just part of the charm i guess.

Staying here was a delight. I loved the cozy feel of the historic building and the food was surprisingly gourmet, especially the burger! The lovely garden area had a great spot for relaxing with a book. Some comfortable loungers to catch the sun. A minor thing was the lack of a shelf in the shower, which made reaching my shower gel a bit tricky, but it smelled amazing! 🌼

The Black Swan Inn is charming with its historic decor and comfortable seating areas, which were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly attentive, helping me with my luggage and offering excellent dining recommendations during my stay.
A stronger extractor fan in the bathroom would help.

The Black Swan is a gem, mate! The food was top-notch, especially the baked chocolate cakes that could make anyone weak at the knees. The vibe's totally chill, and the staff are as friendly as your local pub mates. Plus, great location for a wander around town!
We had a bit of a rough time with room 7. Right above the kitchen’s extractor, it reeked of cooking when we hit the sack. And don't get me started on that 4-poster bed. it blocked the TV view like a bad day out! Needs a clean behind those cabinets too.

It was a good match for a swift visit in Devizes with a reasonable price. I got locked out at 12:30am, but they helped me quickly and calmly over the phone. Make sure to ask for a quiet room if you need some sleep.

The Superior Double Room delivers a cozy ambiance, with a shower room that's quite nice. The location provides easy access to nearby attractions, making it convenient for exploring.
Check-in felt awkward as I had to wait for bar customers to be served before getting my key. The room might be labeled 'superior,' but it felt small for a double, and finding a hair dryer was a challenge. The bed, while comfy, was low to the ground, making it a bit tricky for taller folks to stretch out, and the lack of parking could pose a hassle for some. Only two small biscuits with the tea and coffee setup seemed stingy, too. Plus, my request for a quiet room went out the window when we ended up overlooking a busy road, resulting in sleepless nights.
